Drum Dyed leather is a vegetable tanned leather that is also processed in a rotating drum allowing the dye to penetrate efficiently. Even though you may mistakenly assume that your hands turning black is a sign of a cheap glove or a defect in the glove, that’s really not the case.  But steps can be taken by to prevent it, try a lined glove. The lining will prevent the dyed leather from bleeding. Or find a glove with a silicone additive in the tanning process which can also diminish color migration.
