It started on the hill in Virginia City during Hot August Nights 2018. The streets were closed, traffic was gloriously jam-packed, and the town was hopping with everything on wheels — vintage cars, classics, cruisers, rods, stretches, low riders, tailgates and trunks. Every era of American automotive culture represented, all of it rolling through a historic 1860s mining town perched on the side of a Nevada mountain.
Standing there watching it all go by, something clicked. VCMCo. was built on the love of motorcycles — but this? This was the same love. The same passion for machines, for craftsmanship, for the culture that grows up around things that move fast and look incredible doing it. And the women in that world — the ones who race, who wrench, who show up and hold their own in a space that hasn't always made room for them — deserved something made specifically for them.
That's where the Je T'aime collection was born.
Je T'aime — A Love Letter to Women in Motorsports
Je t'aime — French for "I love you." It's the name of a design that says exactly what it means: a declaration of love for the women who have always been part of motorsports culture, whether the history books acknowledged them or not. Women have been racing, building, and living the motorsports life since the beginning.
