VCMCo. brand launch at Battle Born Harley-Davidson, Carson City Nevada

VCMCo. Launches at Battle Born Harley-Davidson — The Brand Goes Local

April 3rd, 2021. The day Virginia City Motorcycle Company officially introduced itself to the Northern Nevada riding community — and Battle Born Harley-Davidson of Carson City was kind enough to be the place where it happened.

Bringing the Brand to the Dealership

Getting your brand into a local Harley-Davidson dealership is not a small thing. It means the people who run that dealership believe in what you're doing enough to put it on their floor, next to their merchandise, in front of their customers. For a small, independent, locally-made brand like VCMCo., that kind of endorsement from the community matters enormously.

Shannon and Craig at Battle Born Harley-Davidson were wonderful from the start — welcoming, supportive, and genuinely excited about the brand and the artwork. They made me feel like part of the family, and that's not something you take for granted. Thank you both. I look forward to everything ahead.

The Community Showed Up

What made April 3rd special wasn't just the business milestone — it was the people. Family and friends arrived to celebrate the day, and I have to give a huge shout out to every single one of them for showing up and making it feel like the occasion it was. Seeing familiar faces in that dealership, knowing they came out specifically to support this brand, meant everything.

And then my Uncle Bob walked in — all the way from the Bay Area. That was a wonderful surprise. We visited, we laughed, we had a drink, we took pictures. The kind of afternoon that reminds you why community matters and why building something local is worth the effort.

The Reaction to the Brand

I met a ton of people that day — riders, dealership regulars, people who wandered in and ended up staying to look at the designs. Everyone was excited to see something new, something local, something that didn't look like every other motorcycle apparel brand on the market.

That's always been the VCMCo. point of difference. We're bringing sunshine and flowers to our ladies' designs — something feminine and bold that the women in the riding community actually want to wear. And for the guys, unique vintage vibes that draw on the heritage and history of motorcycle culture without looking like a costume. Original artwork. Original designs. Nothing generic.

The response that day confirmed we were on the right track.

Battle Born Harley-Davidson — A True Community Partner

Battle Born Harley-Davidson in Carson City has been a cornerstone of the Northern Nevada riding community for years. They host events, support local riders, and create a space where the motorcycle community can gather. Having VCMCo. shirts on their floor felt like a natural fit — a local brand in a local institution, both built around the same love of the ride.

If you're in Carson City and haven't been in, stop by. And if you see VCMCo. on the rack — that's us. Pick one up and wear it with pride.

Just the Beginning

April 3rd, 2021 was a starting line, not a finish line. The brand was new, the community was just getting to know us, and there was a lot of road ahead. Looking back now, that day at Battle Born set the tone for everything that followed — the rallies, the events, the rides, the people. It all started with a dealership that said yes and a community that showed up.

Thank you, Battle Born. Thank you, Northern Nevada. Let's keep riding.
